This isn’t the first time I have been MORE than happy to step in to assist another great photographer. This time it was a fall wedding with Jen Brown Imaging. I can’t tell you enough just how much fun assisting at a wedding is for me. Removing myself from the role of organizer, I enjoy spending my time getting details of the wedding, a fresh angle of the ceremony, and filling up on reception fun! I get to help a fantastic (and brilliant) friend and former class mate, Jen Brown with this event at the #Wild Rose Inn. It’s an absolutely charming venue with drooping trees and lush lawn, horses and rustic farm gear in the background, and a modest but enchanting outdoor hall that sparkled with lights, candles, and shear linen diffusing the setting sun. A manager of a great wine bar, #Cru, Brian was more than willing and ready to arrive early and pitch in on decorating and organizing. Once we had him and his cool entourage of #groomsmen in their suits, we got some fun, no pressure poses from the boys in beige.
Jen Brown is more than a colleague, she’s a great friend and a solid shooter. Look for the ol’ role reversal to come soon as she steps in to assist me at an event at one of the coolest venues in Central Texas, the #Shindig at Cedar Creek. Just between Austin and Bastrop, Jillian at the Sindig really knows how to host such a wonderful event in the beautiful Texas Spring. While I continue to pray for a dry, cool day, we look forward to more images, and hopefully MORE WEDDINGS!!! Thanks so much for checking out this blog. Enjoy the images and contact Jen Brown for prints or image usage.
