Fierce Competition for Anna

One of the things that continues to push creativity to the brim here in the city of the violet crown is the stiff competition for…  well, everything.  I can never forget that one client that I just could NOT make happy and, thusly,  dissolved our agreement.  She said, “I can stand on any corner in Austin and shout that I need a photographer and ten people will respond.”  She wasn’t upset at all when she said this, but I still was immediately uncomfortable and enlightened.  We are forever in competition with thousands of photographers, stylists, designers, and every other craft you can possibly think of.  And it’s a war out there!  So I really on competitions and collaborations to continue to push and learn and create new design, new images, new ways of telling classic stories.
