Miranda + Austin

Years ago, my coworker and I were taking a smoke break together when we started talking about the photography projects I was working on part time, outside of my job at Satellite Country.  Miranda had mentioned in passing that one day she would hire me to photograph her wedding.  Fast forward almost a half decade and there I was at Jillian’s venue once more for a hot “Spring” wedding in Central Texas, Miranda and Austin at last together with their family and friends to celebrate a lovely union.  As expected, the wedding was a beautifully unique theme of country (what would YOU expect from a lady nicknamed “Bama?”) chic and a real Texas Wedding feel?  Bulbs of cotton accenting the rustic and eclectic decor and vibrant floral arrangements, wagon wheel chandeliers and adorable family pets in the wedding party, Miranda and Austin’s wedding was a down-home party with grace and style all its own.

I really have come to love photographing my friends and family so much.  Once a nightmare of anxiety, I have harnessed my skill for candid and controlled photography, expanded my arsenal of lenses and light kits to match my abilities, and embraced the power and creative license I am granted by the people who appreciate my style of photography.  With so many wonderful characters all abound, my job was as fun as it is rewarding working with the Borders and Sutton families.  Now, enjoy these few selects below AND enjoy the entire slideshow at my shopping cart gallery to find your favorites!
